’Merica Day

Today, Tuesday September 27th, was the second day of Spirit day at Oyster River High School. The theme was ‘Merica day, and students certainly took this to heart. All grades can be seen decked out in red, white and blue clothing. Some notable clothing choices were: American flag duct tape shorts (not pictured), a wig, a helmet/bald eagle shirt combo, a sports coat, and a bedazzled outfit.
Students really showed the American spirit with a majority participating, preliminary numbers find that more students dressed up than the previous day. Class color day had 523 students dressed in colors corresponding to their grade. Freshman were yellow, Sophomores orange, Juniors green, and Seniors a royal purple.
