Q and A with Haley

Do you prefer the mountains or the ocean?

“Honestly I can’t pick if I prefer the mountains or the ocean. They both provide completely different things so they’re almost incomparable. Both!”

Do you like tea or coffee?

“I’m for sure a coffee person, I’ve never found tea to be appealing. Not sure what it is about it.”

What would you do if aliens landed on Earth today?

“If aliens landed on Earth I’d like to say I’d be excited, even approach them or hunt down the ship. But I’d be far more likely to freak out and hunker down in my basement until the threat is contained.”

If your life was a movie, what genre would it be?

“If my life were a movie it would probably be a cheesy teen coming-of-age movie. Think The Breakfast Club. I’ve made plenty of slip-ups that would easily fulfill the role of the awkward main character.”

What cheers you up when you’re down?

“When I’m sad I like to listen to Billy Joel. He never fails to put me in a good mood, as long as I avoid the melodramatic piano ballads.”

Do you like to read, and if so what’s your favorite book?

“I love to read, and I don’t have a favorite book but I’m a huge fan of biographies, especially on past presidents. I’m currently in the middle of  The Reagan Diaries.

After high school, Brown-Bloom plans to put her interest in politics into action. “I have my sights set on a political science major at a college in or around Washington D.C.,” she said. “I’m really fascinated by government and politics so I hope to get involved in that in the coming years.” Haley Brown-Bloom is driven, interested and eager to learn new things about those around her. Brown-Bloom is the kind of girl who can and will do anything she puts her mind to. Keep rocking it!
